Q: So what clubs and activities are you engaged in at your school?
A: I'm in a handful. I am a part of the Student Council. I am Senior Vice President, I am on stage crew, I play baseball, and I just help around school with other things.
Q: What do you want/plan to do after high school?
A: So, I received a full scholarship to The Holy Family University, and I'm going to attend there as an undecided major.
Q: What is your best memory from senior year?
A: Well, there's a lot I think right now especially like this comes to mind just because we had so much time talking about it. There are a lot of times where all the seniors come together, we would just brainstorm ideas from, like, what we're gonna do like a plan, it's like you know, end of the year plans for the summer and everything. And I only think like that's mine right now, especially in those really exciting moments to lead up to that. Sadly, that is taken away from us.
Q: What is your best memory from all of high school?
A: I think my junior year I had this crazy line saying “You’re FIRED” at the end of the play and I think that moment was awesome you know I’ll remember that forever.
Q: What is your greatest achievement?
A: I want to say I guess maybe just my compassion for others like I can build a relationship with others and I think that's pretty cool because I know some people struggle with that. So like building relationships with others.
Q: What is one thing you will miss about your school?
A: I will miss the diversity especially, um, I will miss the arts, I mean that's a big part of our school and, you know, not everyone has that as much as rush does. I think I will miss people, and just their creative ways. And yea I’ll definitely miss that.

Q: How has your highschool experience shaped you?
A: Oh, I would say my high school experience has shaped me in many ways I think as a student, as an artist, and as a person. I've learned a lot about myself through others but also through myself. And it made me realize a lot that I didn't know about society today and like our world. I think if I didn’t go to Rush I wouldn't have learned so much about it. So I think that definitely shaped me and helped me realize a lot.
Q: What has been your most formative high school experience?
A: I'm gonna go way back to my orientation. So I came from a Catholic school, a small Catholic school called St Dominic's so at my orientation I saw this group of people and you know they had so many different colored hairs like bright red, green, and blue and I've never seen that before even like in grocery stores and everything. It really did surprise me because I think coming from a school that was not getting experience out there, at the time I was really shocked to see that. Now I wouldn't even think differently about a person.
Q: Do you have any advice to give to incoming freshmen?
A: My advice would be go through everything you go through open minded and don’t be afraid to try new things especially. And at some point you are always going to face a change and don’t be afraid to do that because change is a good thing. I think no matter what, just stay yourself and don’t be afraid of what's to come.
Q: How are you feeling during this quarantine and what are you doing to keep yourself engaged?
A: I’m going through little changes that are like steps, I'm climbing up and I'm stepping back down continuously going up and down just in general literally in my own home. And I’ve been doing a pretty good amount of stuff actually. I've grown my facial hair to see how it looks which is a new thing and I have been doing a lot of home yard work and like inside rearranging my room and everything and just staying productive in ways that when I did have my regular schedule, I probably wouldnt do.
Q: How do you feel about your senior year being cut short?
A: It definitely saddens me. In theatre class, we would always do a check in every single day no matter what and we would just say how we are feeling and everything and I think i can speak for the whole class that we also looked forward for that last check in and although we’ve been doing them virtually every once a week now, i think we all definitely miss that. That was a big part of our highschool experience.
Q: If you could change one thing about your school what would it be?
A: I think it would probably be making it bigger and bring in more students because we are a small school and we aren't able to offer much so I think I would just make it a little bit bigger just to offer more.
Q: If you could change one thing about Philadelphia what would it be?
A: I’m just going to go a little silly on this one but I would love for Philly to have some beaches because I love the beach and so that would be awesome.
