Q: So, you’ve been in quarantine for over a month now. How has that been?
A: It’s been pretty good, I’m lucky that neither me, my parents, nor my brother have to go outside for anything. We’ve been self-quarantined and just enjoying time together.
Q: What have you been doing to keep yourself engaged and active?
A: I go on walks every day, I’ve been trying to walk and keep a distance from others, just doing that mostly.
Q: Do you think that the school district has been handling this pandemic well with the emergency system they put in place?
A: I think so, I mean, I don’t think it would be wise for us to go back any time soon. Even though it’s unfortunate that a lot of us can’t finish the year in person, I think they're doing the best they can.
Q: At Palumbo, what clubs and activities have you been participating in a lot?
A: I’m on the school’s speech and debate team, which takes up a lot of my time. I was also on the acapella team and the National Honors Society.
Q: If you could change one thing about Palumbo, what would it be?
A: I think just including more SAT prep in our class for the first year. I felt like I didn’t really study much and I felt a little unprepared when it was time to take the test. Other than that, nothing because I love Palumbo.
Q: What is your best memory from all of high school?
A: That’s hard. I think that the Fall Feast is always fun, I really like spending the day with my friends and seeing the alumni.

Q: What is one thing you will miss about Palumbo?
A: I’m going to miss all of the teachers and friends I’ve made because I think everyone gets along so well. It’s really a shame that we can’t graduate together at the end of the year.
Q: Is there anything you would like to say for the incoming freshman, or to people who are considering joining Palumbo?
A: I say do it. I think it’s a great community, everyone really cares for each other, and I feel like there’s a spot for everyone and nobody feels out of place. So for me, that was a big deal and I felt really welcomed at Palumbo.
Q: Finally, what do you plan to do after high school?
A: Well, I’m going to Temple University and I’m studying political science, so that’s my plan.
