The City of Wheelie Love: Balancing Philadelphia's Rider Culture with Concerns Over Noise

In Philadelphia, the presence of dirtbike and ATV riders on Philly streets is causing mixed feelings among residents. Noise is the chief complaint, but many also believe that they are however an iconic part of Philly culture. Residents are calling for stricter regulations, including noise limits, riding curfews, and designated areas to allow these riders proper areas to ride in.

The organization MOVE was bombed in 1985, and it still tremendously affects Philadelphia and its Black citizens. Citizens fought for the freedom to conduct their lives as they pleased and were punished for no good reason, and the punishments continued.
