My name is Hayden Olivia Martinez, I moved from Washington Heights, NYC to a Borough in New Jersey right outside of Center City. I'm a Sophomore at Triton Regional High School in Runnemede, New Jersey, and I Hope to attend Barnard College in New York City as a communications major after graduation.
While Property values continue to skyrocket, Lower income residents as well as local businesses are forced into displacement. The concept of gentrification could be argued to play a positive role in the development of a low-income neighborhood.
